Rules and Regulations
		ASSA ABLOY DOOR SECURITY SOLUTIONS AND AGION OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR DRAWINGS: APPLE 30 GB VIDEO IPODS Eligibility: The drawings are open to United States residents who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers and directors of ASSA ABLOY DOOR SECURITY SOLUTIONS or AGION, and any of their related group companies (individually and/or together, “ASSA ABLOY/AGION”), as well as the immediate family (defined as parents, spouse, children, siblings, and grandparents) and household members of each such employee, officer and director, are not eligible to enter. By participating in one or more of the drawings, entrant agrees to abide by these Official Rules and Regulations and the decisions of ASSA ABLOY/AGION, which are final and binding in all respects. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Selection of Winners: There will be four separate drawings, one following the close of each calendar quarter. The first drawing will take place following the third quarter of 2007, and the subsequent three drawings will occur following the closes of the fourth quarter of 2007 and the first and second quarters of 2008. The winner of each drawing will receive a white 30 GB video iPod. A total of four iPods will be awarded, one in each drawing. The winners will be chosen through a random drawing from all entries submitted through the last business day of the preceding quarter. The drawing will take place in New Haven, CT on or about one week following the close of each quarter. The winners will be notified through the email contact information submitted by each entrant, and the prize will be personally delivered by the winner’s local sales representative. The odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received for each drawing. How to Enter: Any eligible person may submit an entry electronically by following the instructions at either of the following ASSA ABLOY Door Security Solutions websites: www.assaabloydsshealthcare.com or www.assaabloydsseducation.com. Drawing entries will be accepted through the last business day of the quarter preceding each drawing. Only one entry per person is permitted for each of the four drawings. Submission of more than one entry will result in disqualification. Only one prize may be awarded per person; prizewinners are not eligible to enter any of the four drawings remaining. General Rules: 1. These drawings, and all promotions related thereto, are subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations, and void where prohibited by law. These drawings, and any proceedings relating thereto, including the interpretation of these Official Rules and Regulations, are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, and by entering this drawing, each entrant submits to personal jurisdiction in the State of Connecticut. 2. By participating in one or more of the drawings, each entrant agrees to release and hold ASSA ABLOY/AGION and their related group companies, and all employees, officers, directors, agents and representatives thereof, harmless from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in any of the drawings or receipt or use of any prize awarded thereunder. Each winner agrees, as a precondition to receipt of any prize, to execute any and all releases or other documentation reasonably requested by ASSA ABLOY/AGION. 3. By participating in one or more of the drawings, each entrant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with the drawings, or the prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and any judicial proceeding shall take place in a local court within Connecticut; (2) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this drawing, but in no event shall such damages include attorneys’ fees; and (3) under no circumstances will an entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and each entrant hereby waives all rights to punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, or any other damages other than actual out-of-pocket expenses. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules and Regulations, or the rights and obligations of entrants and ASSA ABLOY/AGION in connection with the drawings, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Connecticut, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions (whether of Connecticut or any other jurisdiction) that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than Connecticut. Entrant agrees that any dispute arising out of this drawing will be resolved individually without class action. 4. Winners are solely responsible for the payment of all federal, state and local taxes applicable to the prizes. 5. By entering one or more of the drawings, each selected entrant agrees to the publication, reproduction, and/or other use of his/her name, hometown, likeness, voice, statements about the drawing, prizes or ASSA ABLOY/AGION products and/or photograph or other likeness without further compensation, in any publicity or advertisement carried out by ASSA ABLOY or AGION in any manner and media whatsoever, including print, broadcast, or the internet. 6. Prizes must be accepted as awarded, and are not transferable or redeemable for cash. ASSA ABLOY/AGION reserves the right to substitute a prize in whole or in part in the event that all or any component of the prize is unavailable. 7. In the event of sabotage, acts of God, or other acts or events beyond ASSA ABLOY/AGION’s reasonable control that corrupt the integrity or administration of any of the drawings the drawing or the delivery of the prizes awarded thereunder, ASSA ABLOY/AGION reserves the right to cancel the drawing or take any other actions reasonably necessary.
